This Cookie Policy explains how ARC uses cookies and similar technologies (such as browser local storage) on the witharc.app website and in the ARC application.
1. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files a website stores in your browser to remember information between visits. Local storage serves a similar purpose for web applications.
2. Essential (strictly necessary)
The ARC application uses only what is required for it to function:
- Session/authentication tokens — keep you signed in to your workspace; cleared on logout or expiry.
- Preferences — such as language and interface settings, stored locally on your device.
These cannot be switched off, as the Service does not work without them. They are never used for advertising.
3. Analytics cookies
The marketing website (witharc.app pages such as the homepage and pricing) uses Google Analytics to understand visits in aggregate — which pages are read, roughly where visitors come from, and which content is useful. These cookies (names beginning with _ga) do not identify you personally to us, and analytics is not loaded inside the signed-in application.
You can block analytics cookies in your browser settings or with common blocking extensions without affecting your use of ARC.
4. Marketing cookies
We do not use advertising or marketing cookies, and we do not run third-party ad trackers on the website or in the application. If this ever changes, this policy will be updated first and consent requested where required.
5. Third-party cookies
Payment pages hosted by our payment providers (e.g. Stripe) may set their own cookies under their own policies when you pay online.
6. Managing cookies
All modern browsers let you view, block, and delete cookies (usually under Settings → Privacy). Blocking the essential tokens described in section 2 will prevent you from staying signed in to ARC.
7. Changes and contact
We will update this policy if the cookies we use change. Questions: arc7solutions@gmail.com.
